Our Goals...

• To assist residents in being able to live independently.
• To provide follow-up and continued support beyond residency.

Admission Criteria...

• Residents are voluntary.
• Residents have a diagnosed mental illness.
• Residents are willing to see designated House Psychiatrist.
• Residents are medically stable.
• Residents are compliant with all prescribed medications.
• Residents are financially able to pay room and board.
• Residents are willing to participate in programs and to address personal goals.

Staff Model...

The Satellite House is staffed from 8-12 hours Monday through Friday and periodically over the weekend. Residents have 24 hour access to staff at 101st Street Apartments (Halfway House about 4 blocks away).

Referrals...

Satellite House accepts referrals from hospitals and community agencies.

Residents are considered to be low needs but still require some assistance to prepare for independent living.
